What a great time we had here! Four generations - ages 15 months to 89! We ate, played pool, ping pong, went clamming and enjoyed the beautiful home you have here. We're hoping to make it an annual event. We are from Spokane, Cusick and Sioux City, IA.
P.S. We are donating our clam guns.

Can't wait to get home and review the evidence. Great EVP sessions and many personal experiences. Just kidding, no ghosts here, just a lot of fun! Got plenty of exercise on the three floors and the kids loved all the amenities. House was great, whish I had more time. The hot tub was great and the fire place was cool.

So much to do...both inside and out. Great fire pit, and recreation room. Kids were happy, parents were happy. We started calling the second floor, "Middle Earth". Whenever we couldn't find someone, we'd say they were lost in Middle Earth.

Thank you for having such a wonderful house for ALL of us to stay in. It is such a great house to have several people stay in. Also, we are so glad that you had so many great activities for people of all ages. It was also a great ocean view. Having the floor/activities separated worked out nicely. In the end, this house is the beast for entertainers! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay in the Admiral House very soon!

We gathered for a family reunion and got four families together in the house with assorted Aunts, Uncles and Cousins scattered amongst local cottages & hotels. The house was a marvelous place to meet with mulitple levels and so many activities no one had a chance to be bored or get on each other's nerves! The beach was fabulous, thank you so much for thinking of everything. The weather was fabulous but even if we'd been stuck inside we'd have had plenty to do! Games, books, movies, it's all here. We would definitely consider coming back!

We are a group of families, originally from the East Coast and Mid west but now call Portland our home. We are all far from our true families so when holidays come along we create a new family of friends. Our children are growing up together and know their, “Aunts & Uncles” here better than many of their blood relatives. This trip was special for several reasons-it was Thanksgiving, our last getaway with one couple that has decided to move back East and my baby boy’s one year birthday. We searched long and hard for a place that could accommodate us all without being too cozy & that would keep everyone entertained even if the weather was bad. Your home provided the perfect venue for our celebrations. The kids were thrilled with the bunk bed room, the movie collection & the wonderful treasure chest. The adults, who are very young at heart, took full advantage of the game tables and T. V.’s. We cooked a Thanksgiving feast between all the kitchens and could all eat and share our appreciations together thanks to the extra table. Our meal together became an even more special occasion when we learned there will be one more addition to our makeshift family next year! I haven’t even mentioned the wonderful path to the wide open welcoming beach where we even got treated to several hours of sunshine to add to our great time.
The Admiral really proved to be a perfect place for this group. Thank you for all you’ve put into the house-it was very much appreciated by this crew.
Happy Thanksgiving 2009!

79 years ago, I was born in Long Beach on Sandridge Road. At age 3 we moved to Cathlamet to larger farm in the Elochaman Valley. Was married Jan. 1949 can’t believe its been 60 years! How grateful I’ve been! We had twin daughters and three years later another daughter. We have 6 grandsons + 15 great grandchildren. What blessings they have been. We live in Kelso + my husband Orville worked at Weyerhauser for 34 years before retiring in 1989. Five of our great grandchildren are here with us + having a great time, Calbil-Kelso senior, Micayla 8th Cowieman, Trevor 7th Castle Rock, Morgan-6years, 1st grade, Butler Acres + Paige 4th grade Pre-School. There favorite thing was playing “Hide & Seek”. They played this for hours. So many places to hide! They rode horses on the beach + Morgan won a free ride at another time. She was thrilled. You have a lovely home + thank you for sharing it with us. We would love to come back.
Sincerely- Ruth Tomasli, Orville Tomasli, Marsha Tomasli, Micayla Tomasli, Colbie Tomasli, Morgan, Shri Tomasli, & Trevor Brown.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home! What a joy to find one so very roomy for our range family. The kids want to trade home, would you consider one up in the mountains in Eastern Washington? We have 12 children, (3 biological, 8 adopted, and 1 pending adoption) and this was beyond a treat for them. The youngest has never seen the ocean before and he couldn't decide if he like that best of the Finding Nemo bunk bed room. A cousin, uncle & Grandma joined us and we had a wonderful time. We hope someday all our kids (+2 grand babies) can join us here also. It was rotten blustery weather which didn't deter anyone from being on the beach. Thank you for making our infrequent vacation time, very memorable.

October 05, 2009,
This was a great house for our family celebrating a 80th birthday! We came from many places including Oregon, California, Idaho, Georgia, Colorado. Our age range is 16 years to 80. Lots of fun in this beautiful house and with every thing we could possibly need. The game rooms were well used by all. Our bedrooms were furnished with lovely furnishings and so comfortable! The weather has been perfect. Warm and sunny every day.
I asked everyone for suggestion for improvements : (consider this with “tongue in cheek”) 1) Intern system 2) Escalator 3) Chart at top of steps to record number of steps per day for each person. We have stayed at many beach homes over the years and this has been the best yet! I hope we can come again-As a group we Thank You so much for sharing your beautiful house with us. Thanks to the cleaning crew. They do a terrific job!!

This is our second time to Long Beach, and our first time at The Admiral. We have been trying to have family vacations together, and this was one of the nicest. Last year we went to Copalis, and decided that was too long a trip. We are 3 families from Beaverton, Tigard, Oregon. We range in age from 5 to 68 years. The kids and the adults enjoyed air-hockey, pool table, and xbox. We saw many things and took some great pictures. The 3 separate living areas are great for 3 families. We have always gone to our Oregon beaches, but as my youngest grandson said, “We need to come back again next year”! Thank You so much for sharing your home!!

Hi from the Gregory Durbin family: Greg& Denise (grandma&grandpa), Chris& Annie (mom & dad ), Jack & Jane ( our grand kids-their kids) and Jen & Bill Finnerty. We hale from University Place, Fircrest, & Kent, WA respectively.
Greg and I have been married for 35 years and have 2 grown children-Christopher and Jennifer. Greg works for a pharmaceutical Comp. in Seattle a regional (Western US) IT Manager. I Denise work for the Workfirst division of WA State Employment Security office in Lakewood. I plan on working 10 more years(!) “God Willing”. I was a discussion leader in Bible study Fellowship, I love the Lord!, and I am ever so thankful for my great husband, wonderful (and beautiful) children and grand children. We are truly blessed.
Our son, Chris, is a lawyer and his wife, Annie, is a wonderful stay –at-home mom-she was teacher for Special Ed.-elementary& middle school. Our daughter Jen works for World Vision and is a project manager (financial auditing) Her husband , Bill, is doing internships for U.W. Med. School and will soon be a Nurse Practitioner.
Jack is almost 6 and will attend all day kindergarten this fall. He is smart, handsome and a good young athelete! Jane-Jane is almost 3 years old-and the sweetest on 2 little feet in the whole world!!
We loved this place! Chris, Annie, J& J on the 1st floor. Nice and cool-they loved-(we all did)-your pool table, ping pong and air-hockey. This is such a beautiful house- we guess the did it all- great work! The kitchens on every floor are great and the view-Spectacular! Jen and Bill took the 2nd floor-they loved (we all did) the fire pit-the large screen TV and being able to bring their German Sheperd, “Addie” along, Addie loved to dig ( to China ) in the sand. Beautiful decorating and furnishings! We enjoyed the Kite Festival and the Light house-the weather is perfect- under 70 and sunny.
We marveled at your family picture in the dining area-your wife looks so young! Thank you for sharing your space. God bless and keep yours.

We were here for a week last August for a destination wedding. This beach house allowed for an “impromptu” family reunion for my husband’s side of the family! We had such a great time and the house was big enough that everyone had “their space” we decided to repeat the trip this year! We were thrilled to find toys (especially the dress up clothes) , Disney video’s, anew stove, the new tv’s & pool table! We had 4 little girls (age 6,5,& two 3 year olds) that had so much fun they didn’t want to leave! We left some beach mats to add to the house. Thank you for out fitting such an incredible home for us to make unforgettable family memories!

The Anderson, Jenkins, Furguson family stayed here to celebrate my oldest son’s marriage in Naselle, WA. Staying here allowed the family to be together and relax following the hectic & stressful bustle of wedding activities. The very young children to the adult children all found activities to entertain them. We greatly enjoyed the experience and are planning on future family vacations here. It w as a true pleasure . Thank you for renting & maintaining such a wonderful home. Your rates are great and allow for affordability for the average family.

We’ve chosen this rental home to bring our whole family together and to celebrate this unusual chance together. We live far apart-Minnesota, Wisconsin, California, and Washington. Our ages range from 2 -72. Everyone had something fun and wonderful to explore and do here. Thank you for providing so many indoor activities for children, their parents, our “teens” and older folks. It is our 50th anniversary (Minnesota grandparents ) on August 8th. And our Washington family (parents) of the youngest children our daughter and her husband’s 11th anniversary August 8th as well. We have a challenge to find a place large enough (plus allowing a small dog to stay!) Thanks very much for sharing your lovely beach house.

We chose this vacation rental house to celebrate our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. And it was great!! We range in age from 73 to 7 and you had something everyone! We loved the pool table, air hockey, ping pong, x-box, dress up, books, video’s, and the fire pit. We spent hours at the beach and enjoyed smores at the fire pit. The view is nice and the amount of room in the house was super. We didn’t feel like we had 11 people here! Having the stairs on the “outside” of the floors was nice because people could go from one floor to the next without bothering anyone. You decorated everything nice and comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your house and a part of yourselves! And the most important thing was the Steffani’s form Ashland, OR. (the 50th year newlyweds!)

Day # 1: Our first night here and what can we say, “WOW”. This place is wonderful! We enjoyed our first night just kicking back playing pool, ping pong, air hockey etc…
Day #2: We woke up this morning to a awesome breakfast prepared by our personal chief “Troy”! Then we went to town and enjoyed 70 degree weather! Came back to fly kites on the beach! Went to Oysterville and purchased oysters & clams. Came back and had an amazing dinner that consisted of New York steaks, caesar salad, oysters, clams, sourdough bread and a really good bottle of white wine! After dinner we had a fire on the beach made smores and finished with a game of Texas Holdem! This truly was an amazing day!
Day # 3: With 6 teenagers we had to go race go-karts. So we headed to town. We must have raced half the day. We had a blast!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay here at the Admiral House its totally awesome.

Mom, Thanks for letting me have my birthday party here for my 16th. It was a blast! I loved all the food you made, and (bought). Thank you for paying for all of my friends to ride the go-carts and for ice cream. Going to the beach was a lot of fun, we took tons of pictures, of all different sorts of poses, that were very hard. This is the best weekend I’ve ever had at the beach. Because it wasn’t filled with work and I could just have fun! I’ll never forget this party.

Thank you so much for your incredible house. Our family had a fantastic time & everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We are Ron, Cathie and three sons- Brandon, Trevor, and Colt and their wives/girlfriends and our three grandchildren: Talon-12, Brett-6, and Sarah-4. Your house is perfect for our large family—from the double dining tables to the bunk beds for the little ones & all the great rec. room toys. The top floor is a great place to gather while making dinner—or a quiet place to read & watch the ocean. Your second floor is a fun place to play pool and or Xbox on the big screen T. V. and we all loved the bottom floor and had fun and tournaments playing air hockey and ping pong. To make our weekend even more perfect we had great weather. We loved playing on the beach flying kites and having a bonfire on the beach and roasting marshmallows. It is a time we will all cherish and remember. The wonderful memories we made. Thanks for sharing your home.

Hello! Your beach house is gorgeous! I came all the way from Buffalo,NY to stay here with my family. My two year old son walked to the beach with me and his papa for the first time. He ran towards the water totally fearless….he went to far, the waves caused him to tumble over….soaked and cold, we had to walk back re-dressed him. We headed back to the beach, the fearless attitude is now gone….so we settled for sand. Still fun! Blessings!
